The present invention relates to a beehive having a structure in which some parts are made of an expanded polypropylene (EPP) material and which can increase durability and reduce various expenses. The structure of the beehive includes: a hexahedron shaped beehive main body having an open top a lid mounted on the beehive main body to cover the opening and a partition wall mounted vertically upright on a mounting projection provided at an upper end of an inner wall of the beehive main body and partitioning the inner space of the beehive main body in a horizontal direction. The beehive main body is formed by assembling a wooden plate, and the lid is made of the EPP material.본 발명은 일부 부품이 이피피(EPP) 소재로 되어 있어 내구성을 높일 수 있으며 제반비용을 절감할 수 있는 구성의 벌통에 관한 것이다. 그의 구성은 상부가 개방된 육면체 형태의 벌통본체 상기 벌통본체의 상부에 안착되어 개구부를 덮는 덮개 상기 벌통본체의 내측벽 상단에 마련되는 안착턱에 안착되어 수직으로 세워져 설치되는 것으로서, 상기 벌통본체의 내부공간을 횡방향으로 구획하기 위한 격판을 포함하는 벌통에 있어서 상기 벌통본체는 목판재를 조립하여 구성되며 상기 덮개는 이피피(EPP) 소재로써 성형된 것을 특징으로 한다.
