Disclosed is a method for acquiring a high-quality image of a computed tomography scanner. The present invention provides a method for acquiring a high-quality image of a computed tomography scanner including an X-ray irradiator and an ax-ray detector which are fixed in opposition to each other to a gantry rotated by a gantry motor and the method includes the steps of: setting the number of rotations of the gantry by the computed tomography scanner; continuously rotating the gantry in a predetermined number of rotations; sequentially acquiring a plurality of tomographic images by the X-ray detector in a predetermined angular positions regardless of bio signal of a subject during the rotation of the gantry; finishing the scanning operation as the number of rotations of the gantry reaches a predetermined number of rotations and classifying the tomographic images into a plurality of image groups based on the scanning angle; calculating an optimum value for pixels having the same position in the plural tomography images included in the classified image groups; generating optimal images for each angle corresponding to each image group by combining the pixels having the calculated optimum values; and forming a 3D tomographic image by using the optimal images obtained based on the plural angles. Thus, a device for detecting the bio signal is not necessary, so the manufacturing cost for the computed tomography scanner can be reduced.
