PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment instrument for an endoscope for controlling a distal end treatment member in a desired direction by smoothly operating an operational wire to rotate by the operation from a proximal end side when a bending portion is bent with a small radius of curvature, and push-in operational force acts on the operational wire in the bending portion or the like of the endoscope.
SOLUTION: An insertion tube 4 is loosely inserted into a flexible sheath 1 while being fit loosely on a periphery of the operational wire 2 for the entire length inside the flexible sheath 1. The insertion tube 4 is divided in tandem in a region of at least the distal end side to form a plurality of cylindrical bodies 40. The plurality of the cylindrical bodies 40 are arranged in tandem in a manner to rotate about an axis line independently.
