The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus to sterilize a plant seed using a chlorine dioxide gas. According to the present invention, a plant seed is treated with a chlorine dioxide gas, thereby completely removing detrimental microbes which exists in the seed without affecting the germination rate of the plant seed.본 발명은 이산화염소 기체를 이용한 식물 종자의 살균 방법 및 이산화염소 기체를 이용한 식물 종자의 살균 장치에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따르면, 이산화염소 기체를 식물 종자에 처리함으로써, 식물 종자의 발아율에 영향을 미치지 않으면서 종자에 존재하는 위해 미생물을 완전히 제거할 수 있다.
