PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-allergic agent and an anti-allergic food which each is obtained from a raw material used as a daily ingestible staple food and is high in an anti-allergic effect and in safety.
SOLUTION: The anti-allergic agent and the anti-allergic food each contains germinated rye and/or its processed product as an active ingredient. The lengths of the buds are preferably 1 to 15 mm, more preferably 3 to 10 mm.
