PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover for preventing separation of an indwelling needle for intravenous, allowing a nurse to simply perform inspection work for an indwelling needle, and suitably handling the indwelling needle without removing the cover from the hand of a patient when the indwelling needle is about to separate or it is already separated.SOLUTION: This cover for preventing separation of an indwelling needle for intravenous is constructed to cover the back of the hand and formed substantially cylindrical to prevent separation of the indwelling needle for intravenous. The cover includes a fingertip projecting opening part 2 at one end for projecting the fingertips except a thumb, a side opening part 3 for projecting the thumb at the side part, and a passing opening part 4 at the other end, wherein a covering member 5 for the indwelling needle is provided in a position corresponding to the indwelling needle handled on the back of the hand when the cover is applied to the hand, and the cover includes a fastener member 9 for opening and closing the covering member 5 in the state of applying the cover to the back of the hand.COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT【課題】看護師等による留置針の点検作業を簡単に行えるようにすると共に、留置針が離脱しそうになっている場合や既に離脱している場合でも患者の手からカバーを外すことなく留置針を適切に処置できるようにした点滴留置針の離脱防止用カバーを提供する。【解決手段】手の甲を覆い、点滴の留置針の離脱を防止するために略筒状に構成した点滴留置針の離脱防止用カバーにおいて、一方端の親指を除いた指先を突出させる指先突出用開口部2と、側部の親指を突出させる側部開口部3と、他方端の挿通用開口部4とを有しており、このカバーを手に装着したとき手の甲に処置された留置針に対応する位置に留置針の被覆部材5を設けると共に、カバーを装着した状態で被覆部材5を開閉させるファスナー部材9を備えた構成である。【選択図】図1
