PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope apparatus for achieving optimum light exposure in each imaging and obtaining an optimum captured image when an ordinary light imaging or PDD light imaging is performed.SOLUTION: The endoscope apparatus includes: a first light source part LD1 for emitting wide-band light a second light source part LD2 for emitting narrow-band light a light source controlling part 72 for controlling each light emission and each amount of light emitted an imaging part 21 for imaging an ordinary-light image and a fluorescent image on each frame by returning light and fluorescent-light from a body to be imaged an imaging time determining part 34 for determining the imaging time in accordance with the intensity of the fluorescent light an imaging control part 34 for controlling the imaging part and a light emitting condition determining part 52 for determining the light emitting condition of a first light source. The light source controlling part 72 causes the first light source part LD1 in a first frame to emit light, and causes the first light source part LD2 in the second frame to emit light, and successively repeats a series of imaging operations at least including imaging of the ordinary light image and imaging of the fluorescent light image.
