PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel liquid organic modified organopolysiloxane having excellent emulsification characteristics, imparting excellent touch feeling, and especially when formulated with an external preparation or a cosmetic containing water and an oil, making use of effects of the water, suppressing oily feeling, and providing excellent sense of use such as smooth coating feeling with thickness, natural cutaneous sensation closely compatible with the skin, good moisture-keeping effects and no sticky feeling, and to provide a method for producing the compound, and further to provide an external preparation or a cosmetic having excellent emulsion stability without containing a compound containing a polyoxyethylene structure, which agrees with global tide of improving a construction of goods for final users such as the cosmetics as the whole so as to have a PEG-free recipe.SOLUTION: There is provided a liquid organopolysiloxane having fluidity at least at 100°C, a silicon-bonded glycerin derivative group, and a crosslinked structure comprising a carbon-silicon bond at the crosslinking portion.【課題】乳化特性に優れており、また、優れた触感を与え、特に、水及び油を含む外用剤又は化粧料に配合した場合に水の効果を生かし油性感を抑制し、厚みのある滑らかな塗布感、肌なじみのよい自然な皮膚感覚、良好な保湿効果、べとつきの無さ等の優れた使用感をもたらす、新規な液状の有機変性オルガノポリシロキサン及びその製法を提供すること。さらに、化粧品など最終消費者向け商品の構成を全体としてＰＥＧ－ＦＲＥＥ処方に改良するという世界的な潮流に合致した、ポリオキシエチレン構造を含有する化合物を含むことなく、乳化安定性に優れた外用剤ないしは化粧料を提供すること。【解決手段】少なくとも１００℃において流動性を有し、ケイ素原子に結合したグリセリン誘導体基を有し、且つ、架橋部に炭素－ケイ素結合を含む架橋構造を有する液状オルガノポリシロキサン。【選択図】なし
