PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasound diagnostic apparatus for suppressing the switching of connection against the operators intention, while reducing a workflow in the switching of connection between an ultrasound probe and an apparatus body.SOLUTION: One ultrasound probe 1 to be used for examination by a connection selector 2 for selectively switching a connection state between the plurality of ultrasound probes 1 and a diagnostic apparatus body 3 is connected to the diagnostic apparatus body 3. When an interruption detector 12 detects interruption of ultrasound examination, a display part 11 is made to display a selection screen for selecting an ultrasound probe 1 to be subsequently used.
