The invention relates to an intervertebral-disc prosthesis including a structure comprising a rigid upper plate (10), a rigid lower plate (11), and a core (20) inserted between said plates, characterized in that said structure is made from a thermoplastic material, the core further including a thermoplastic monomaterial having graduated elastic and damping properties. According to one alternative embodiment, said core consists of an elastomeric central core (20c, 20ci) surrounded by one or more rings (20p, 20pj), which are referred to as rings having ranks j relative to the core, and which are more rigid.Linvention a pour objet une prothèse de disque intervertébral comprenant une structure comportant un plateau rigide supérieur (10), un plateau rigide inférieur (11) et un cœur (20) inséré entre lesdits plateaux caractérisé en ce que ladite structure est réalisée en matériau thermoplastique, le cœur comprenant en outre un monomatériau thermoplastique à gradient de propriétés élastiques et damortissement. Selon une variante, ledit cœur est constitué dun noyau central à caractère élastomère (20c, 20ci), entouré dun ou de plusieurs anneaux dits de rangs j par rapport au cœur (20p, 20pj ) à caractère plus rigide.
