PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable efficient transplanting work by automatically adjusting the number of transplanted rows according to the size of a field in a seedling transplanting machine provided with a seedling transplanting tool capable of transplanting to a plurality of rows. SOLUTION: In a seedling transplanting machine for transplanting seedlings by transplanting and driving a plurality of seedling planting tools 126 while traveling back and forth in a field, a shore distance measuring means 6L for measuring a distance from a side portion of the machine body to a shore AZ, 6R is provided, and the seedling planting device 52 is set in the final run along the shore AZ using the untransplanted interval LA to the shore AZ measured by the shore distance measuring means 6L, 6R and the transplanting strip width LK1 of the seedling planting tool 126.
