An agricultural harvester comprises a windrow door (32) for controlling a direction of flow of crop residue expelled from a harvester (10). The windrow (32) door may generally include a door panel (46) extending lengthwise between a first end (60) and a second end (62). The door panel (46) may be configured to be move relative to a spreader (40) of the harvester (10) between a closed position, wherein the crop residue being expelled from the combine is directed along the door panel (46/144) and into the spreader (40), and a chute position, wherein the crop residue is directed rearwardly through a rear opening (42) of the combine and onto the door panel (46/144).
