PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide compositions for dyeing keratin fiber in which a direct dye is used and which can impart sufficient color strength and conditioning effect to keratin fiber.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a composition for hair dye, preferably keratin fiber, preferably in a form of O/W emulsion, which contains (a) at least one direct dye, (b) at least one lipid substance, (c) at least one anionic surfactant selected from dianion amino acid surfactants, and (d) water.
