PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing culture products of microorganisms for obtaining culture products in which the proportion of the amount of IL-10 and IL-12 produced (IL-10/IL-12 ratio) is large and which has excellent anti-inflammatory properties.SOLUTION: The method of producing a culture product of Lactobacillus plantarum which is obtained by culturing Lactobacillus plantarum up to a time point not exceeding the end of the logarithmic growth phase uses a culture medium which includes an unsaturated fatty acid ester. The unsaturated fatty acid ester is an ester obtained by reacting a monounsaturated or polyunsaturated fatty acid with a polyhydric alcohol, or a derivative of the ester.
