PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water supply method for a paddy field, which prevents shellfish from entering a portion where seed rice is scattered on the surface of the paddy field.SOLUTION: In a water supply method for a paddy field, a water storage part 8 isolated from the paddy field by a wall member 8b and protruded from the upper end of the surface 1 of the paddy field is arranged in the paddy field. Water is supplied from a water channel 9 positioned outside of a ridge 3 between paddy fields through an inlet channel 10 to the water storage part 8.
