PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope apparatus which has two pairs of irradiation windows for illuminating an area to be observed in the leading end of the endoscope insertion portion while the diameter of the endoscope insertion portion can be reduced and uneven radiation can be prevented, and also which can simultaneously radiate narrow bandwidth light respectively having different spectra.SOLUTION: A first irradiation portion that radiates white light onto a subject, a second irradiation portion that radiates narrow bandwidth light having a narrower wavelength bandwidth than the white light, and an observation window 39 used to observe the subject are respectively disposed on a leading end surface of an endoscope insertion portion 35. Each of the first and second irradiation portions includes a pair of irradiation windows 71A to 71D for emitting light therefrom. When a straight line passing through a center point 39 of the observation window and bisecting the leading end surface is defined as a boundary line L3, the pair of irradiation windows 71C and 71D of the first irradiation portion are disposed on the leading end surface on both sides of the boundary line L3, and the pair of irradiation windows 71A and 71B of the second irradiation portion are disposed on the leading end surface on the both sides of the boundary line.
