PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify constitution of a riding type working machine for automatically reducing a travel speed during turning.SOLUTION: A riding type working machine 10 includes a steering wheel 31, an engine 11, a hydraulic continuously variable transmission 62 which transmits the power of the engine 11 to driving wheels 14, 14 for travel, and an operation lever 71 which can be swung so as to change the speed of the hydraulic continuously variable transmission 62. A return mechanism 90 is provided to a swing base 71a of the operation lever 71.
