The object of the present invention is that the physical properties are not deteriorated by electron beam sterilization when used as a blood filter, and have excellent durability, dimensional stability, chemical resistance, and also have biocompatibility. It is an object of the present invention to provide a blood filter whose physical properties do not deteriorate. The blood filter of the present invention is characterized by including a nonwoven fabric made of PEEK fiber. The blood filter of the present invention preferably has an average pore diameter of 3 to 280 μm, a porosity of 15 to 70%, and an average fiber diameter of the PEEK fiber of 10 μm or less.本発明の目的は、血液フィルターとして用いる際の電子線殺菌処理により物性が低下せず、優れた耐久性、寸法安定性、耐薬品性を有し、生体適合性も兼ね備え、電子線殺菌処理の際にも物性が低下しない血液フィルターを提供することにある。 本発明の血液フィルターは、ＰＥＥＫファイバーからなる不織布を含むことを特徴とする。また、本発明の血液フィルターは、平均気孔径が３～２８０μｍであること、気孔率が１５～７０％であること、前記ＰＥＥＫファイバーの平均繊維径が１０μｍ以下であることが好ましい。
