PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attenuated parvovirus capsid gene usable for preparing a parvovirus having an attenuation marker suitable for vaccines for non-human animals, infectious molecular clones obtainable from the attenuated parvovirus capsid gene, attenuated parvovirus and vaccines, as well as preventing or treating methods for non-human animals using the vaccines.SOLUTION: The attenuated parvovirus capsid gene encodes a protein comprising an amino acid sequence having the amino acid of the parvovirus capsid protein VP-2 at position 300 which is substituted with an amino acid other than glycine or alanine, and/or the amino acid of capsid protein VP-2 at position 389 which is substituted with an amino acid other than threonine.SELECTED DRAWING: None
