The invention relates to a device for testing varifocal lenses, characterised in that it comprises a ring (3) in which a varifocal lens is inserted, with no correction in the upper portion thereof, reserved for far sight, and with a corrective addition in the lower portion thereof, reserved for near sight, said varifocal lens having a first engraving (8) enabling same to be centred horizontally, according to the separation between the pupils of the user, and a second engraving (9) enabling same to be centred vertically, i.e. at the height of the pupils of said user, said two engravings (8, 9) extending in directions substantially perpendicular to one another.Dispositif d'essai de verres progressifs caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte une bague (3) dans laquelle est inséré un verre progressif ne présentant aucune correction dans sa partie supérieure, réservée à la vision de loin, et présentant une addition correctrice dans sa partie inférieure, réservée à la vision de près, ce verre progressif présentant une première gravure (8) lui permettant d'être centré horizontalement, selon l'écart pupillaire de l'utilisateur et une seconde gravure (9) lui permettant d'être centré verticalement, c'est à dire à hauteur de pupille dudit utilisateur, ces deux gravures (8, 9) s'étendant selon des directions sensiblement perpendiculaires l'une à l'autre.
