A medicine timing device comprises: a housing 10 with a container 12 with a childproof opening mechanism； and a timer with a display 18, countdown timer function, control means to set a time interval, an indicator 24 to show the status of the countdown timer, an alarm 25, and a reset control with a childproof barrier to operation to prevent unauthorised access. The reset control means may comprise one or more buttons, provided on the housing having a childproof press function, or within the container. The display may be switchable between a countdown timer and a clock. The countdown timer may be programmable to set more than one countdown interval or to set countdown intervals in sequence. An on/off control may be provided within the container having a childproof closure mechanism. The housing and the container walls may be at least partially flexible.
