A computer-implemented method and apparatus for modifying an entity sensoryrepresentation. An entity sensory representation representing an entity isreceived.The entity sensory representation comprises a plurality of sensoryrepresentations thatrepresent a plurality of items that are part of the entity. Each of theplurality of items isassociated with a set of values for a set of measurable factors of interest. Aset ofscale factors is calculated for each of the plurality of sensoryrepresentations based onthe set of values associated with the each of the plurality of items. Theplurality ofsensory representations is modified using the set of scale factors to form aplurality ofmodified sensory representations that establish a relative relationshipbetween theplurality of items represented by the plurality of modified sensoryrepresentations withrespect to the set of measurable factors of interest
