A pet feces pick up device has a pole and a head section at an angle to the pole. The head section has a bag ring and a base with a V shaped slot. A bag is inserted into the ring and the end of the bag is locked in the flexible V shaped slot such that the fringes of the bag cover the ring, preventing contact of feces with the ring when picking up the feces. Any household plastic bag can be used. The device allows picking up pet feces from loose or hard surface without bending or touching the feces or the bag. The bag is discarded with the feces in it leaving the device clean.
