PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that cut waste is stuck between the blades of a carbide bar especially when cutting wet plaster or cutting plaster while pouring water, cutting efficiency declines by clogging, excessive cutting time is needed and the time and labor are needed for the work of removing the cut waste stuck between the blades as well in the case of cutting a dental technology material comprising plaster or a resin using the carbide bar for dental technology.SOLUTION: In the carbide bar for the dental technology which is to be attached to the distal end of a handpiece for the dental technology to perform cutting and includes a bar-shaped shaft part made of stainless steel and a cutting part whose main component is tungsten carbide at the end of the shaft part, the cutting part is provided with the blade and the blade is formed by being twisted in a direction opposite to the rotating direction of the bar from the shaft part direction to the distal end part.COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT【課題】歯科技工用カーバイドバーを用いて石膏や樹脂から成る歯科技工物を切削する場合、特に濡れている石膏や注水下で石膏を切削する際は切削屑がカーバイドバーの刃の間に詰まり、目詰まりすることで切削効率が低下し過大な切削時間が必要である。また、刃の間に詰まった切削屑を除去する作業にも時間と手間を要する。【解決手段】歯科技工用ハンドピースの先端に取り付けて切削する歯科技工用カーバイドバーであって、ステンレス製の棒状の軸部と、該軸部の方端にタングステンカーバイドを主成分とする切削部を有する歯科技工用カーバイドバーにおいて、切削部には刃を有し、刃は軸部方向から先端部にかけてバーの回転方向と反対方向へねじれて形成されていることを特徴とする歯科技工用カーバイドバーとする。【選択図】図1
