The present invention relates to a composition for preventing, ameliorating, or treating hypercholesterolemia comprising pine needle extract powder as an active ingredient. More specifically, the present invention relates to a composition for preventing, ameliorating, or treating hypercholesterolemia comprising pine needle extract powder as an active ingredient. To this end, the pine needle extract powder is prepared by the following steps: dehydrating water from pine needle extracting the same using a juice extractor without extracting by hot water extraction or subcritical extraction lyophilizing the extract to make the same into powder. The pine needle extract powder of the present invention has effects of reducing total cholesterol (TC) and low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) in a subject in a stage of pre-hypertension, while increasing high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C).본 발명은 솔잎착즙분말을 유효성분으로 포함하는 고콜레스테롤혈증의 예방, 개선 또는 치료용 조성물에 관한 것이다. 보다 상세하게는 솔잎의 수분을 탈수한 후, 열수 또는 아임계 추출 등의 추출법으로 추출하지 않고, 녹즙기를 이용하여 착즙하여 얻은 생즙을 동결건조하여 분말화한 솔잎착즙분말을 유효성분으로 포함하는 고콜레스테롤혈증의 예방, 개선 또는 치료용 조성물에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 솔잎착즙분말은 고혈압전단계 대상자의 혈중 총콜레스테롤(TC) 및 저밀도 지질단백질 콜레스테롤(LDL-C)을 감소시키고, 고밀도 지질단백질 콜레스테롤(HDL-C)을 증가시키는 효과가 있는 것이다.
