PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pants-type disposable diaper, wherein end parts in the longitudinal direction of an absorbent body and both side parts near the end parts are successfully fitted to a wearer, leak prevention performance is excellent, a waistline part is flexible, and fitting property and touch feeling are favorable.
SOLUTION: The pants-type disposable diaper 1 has the first and second waist part elastic members 23A, 23B arranged between an outer layer sheet 21 and an inner layer sheet 22 constituting an external wrapper material 2. The elastic members 23A are arranged in areas where end parts of an absorbent core 34 in the longitudinal direction are positioned over the whole width of the external wrapper material 2 across the absorbent core 34. Several lines of the elastic members 23B are arranged in areas closer to a crotch part side than the areas where the elastic members 23A are positioned. The elastic members 23B are fixed to the both sheets 21, 22 at inner and outer fixing parts 28 but not fixed to the both sheets 21, 22 at parts between the fixing parts 27, 28. The elastic members 23B are not arranged or do not substantially exhibit elastic retractility between the inner fixing parts 27.
