Polynucleotides (e.g., genes) encoding tumor associated antigens are edited at target sites selected by nucleobase editors including catalyst-inactive Cas9 and cytosine deaminase, resulting in a natural peptide derived from tumor associated antigens. It may result in more immunogenic random changes or expression of latent peptides.
