PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe and easy-to-use soil pest control device capable of preventing damage to plants such as weevil, which is a soil pest, from eating damage and corresponding to plant growth without using an agrochemical. SOLUTION: The plant root is covered and surrounded by a material having flexibility and adhesiveness that can be freely molded, and the soil near the plant root is set as a home during the daytime. This is a soil pest control device 11 that does not use an agrochemical agent that can prevent the progress of soil-borne pests such as weevil, which is a soil-damaging insect pest, and can control the food damage to plants 12.
