One embodiment of the present invention provides a patient shuttle system including a patient table on which a patient is placed, a drive device that causes the patient table to move parallel and/or rotate, and a drive control device that controls parallel movement and/or rotation of the patient table by the drive device, in accordance with a parallel movement amount and/or a rotation amount of the patient table that are received from a patient positioning system provided in a treatment room for particle therapy.
