PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-in-oil type emulsified cosmetic showing clear generation of color without using an organic tar-based pigment which may have skin sensitization.SOLUTION: This invention relates to the water-in-oil type emulsified cosmetic using an ultramarine blue pigment which is an inorganic pigment exhibiting a vivid color of pink to blue, and having excellent long-term stability in discoloration and viscosity change, namely, the water-in-oil type emulsified cosmetic containing (A) basic amino acid, and (B) the ultramarine blue pigment. As the basic amino acid, histidine, arginine, ricin or the like are enumerated, and especially histidine is preferable.
