The present invention relates to a composition for joint cavity injection containing a nucleic acid and chitosan, and more particularly, the composition for joint cavity injection produced through mixing nucleic acid and chitosan undergoes a sol-gel transition depending on the temperature. It was confirmed that the injection of the composition increased the biosynthesis of proteoglycan in the cartilage tissue and had a cartilage regeneration effect. . Therefore, development of the arthritis therapeutic agent which has the outstanding therapeutic effect using the composition for joint cavity injection containing a nucleic acid and chitosan is anticipated for this invention.
