A method of treating cancer in a subject is disclosed. The method comprises administering to the subject: (i) a therapeutically effective amount of an inhibitory agent that down-regulates an amount of a polypeptide selected from the group consisting of BCL-2, MCL-1 and cyclin D1； and (ii) a therapeutically effective amount of a CXCR4 binding agent that increases the expression of mi R-15a and/or 16-1, thereby treating the cancer.L'invention concerne un procédé de traitement de cancer chez un sujet. Le procédé consiste à administrer au sujet : (i) une quantité thérapeutiquement efficace d'un agent inhibiteur qui régule à la baisse une quantité d'un polypeptide choisi parmi le groupe constitué de BCL-2, MCL-1 et de cycline D1 ； et (ii) une quantité thérapeutiquement efficace d'un agent de liaison de CXCR4 qui augmente l'expression de mi R-15a et/ou 16-1, ce qui permet de traiter le cancer.
