The connector has a retaining pipe (2) provided in a trapezoidal retaining profile (1) for fixing a covering film (5), where the pipe consists of elastic material. The retaining profile has an opening in sides that are parallel to each other. The sides are defined by two chambers for opening free legs of the retaining profile. Raised regions or recesses are provided in inwardly aligned inclined surface of free legs and in an inwardly aligned, convex deflection surface of the chambers in the opening of the retaining profile.
