The invention relates to a pump, in particular a blood pump comprising a proximal end, a distal end and a pump housing arranged therebetween, and comprising a drive shaft arranged in an interior of the pump housing in the longitudinal direction. The pump also comprises a delivery element arranged on the drive shaft, in addition to a cannula. The pump housing, shaft arrangement and the delivery element are adapted to one another such that they guarantee the best possible efficiency and durability of the pump.
