An implement for preparing seedbed and furrows, which is connectable to a farm vehicle, comprises a frame structure, and a transmission shaft rotatably mounted on the frame structure. A transmission arrangement is mounted on the transmission shaft and is configured to provide rotary drive to the transmission shaft. A rotary shaft is mounted on the frame structure and is rotatably coupled with the transmission shaft. A plurality of blades is supported on the rotary shaft for ploughing the ground. A plurality of furrow forming elements is mounted on a guide pipe that is supported on the frame structure, wherein the plurality of blades and the plurality of furrow forming elements facilitate the simultaneous performance of the ploughing operation and the furrow forming operation on the ground for the preparation of the seedbed.
