<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ophthalmic apparatus efficiently performing the eyelids-opening work of an examinee. <；P>；SOLUTION: The ophthalmic apparatus having an optometric part for examining and measuring an eye to be examined is equipped with an alignment index projection optical system for projecting an alignment index on the eye to be examined, an alignment index detection optical system for detecting the alignment index, a drive control means for moving the optometric part on the basis of the detection result by the detection optical system to set the same to a predetermined positional relation with respect to the eye to be examined, and an eyelids-opening detection means for detecting the eyelids-opening state of the eye to be examined in the state that the optometric part is set to a predetermined positional relation. The drive control means is constituted so as not only to retract the optometric part within the range capable of detecting eyelids-opening by the eyelids-opening detection means when the eyelids-opening state is judged to be insufficient on the basis of the detection result of the eyelids-opening detection means but also to perform control for again aligning the optometric part with the predetermined positional relation in the case where the eyelids-opening state is judged to be sufficient on the basis of the detection result of the eyelids-opening detection means after the retraction of the optometric part. <；P>；COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
