PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container which stabilizes an entire shape of a side wall part for improving a shape retention property.SOLUTION: A container body 1 comprises a bottom surface part 16 and a side wall part 18 which rises upward from a circumference 17 of the bottom surface part 16. The side wall part 18 includes insertion pieces 31, 32 disposed at a prescribed interval and a piece 36 to be inserted that is disposed between the insertion pieces 31, 32. A projection part 41a extending upward is formed at a part of an upper end part of the insertion piece 31a. The projection part 41a of the insertion piece 31a is inserted in an opening part 51a (not shown in figures) of the piece 36 to be inserted to engage as engagement retention means 21. Consequently, since the engagement state of the insertion piece 31a with the piece 36 to be inserted becomes stable, a shape retention property of the container body 1 is improved.
