A catheter for measuring a flow of blood through a body tissue has a light emitter for emitting light into the body tissue and at least one light receiver for receiving light reflected in the body tissue and back to the catheter. The catheter comprises a first connection tube and a stiff element, wherein the light emitter and the at least one light receiver are arranged in the stiff element. The stiff element comprises at least a first and a second window, wherein the light emitted from the light emitter is emitted through the second window into the body tissue and the light reflected in the body tissue is received by the at least one light receiver through the first window.L'invention concerne un cathéter pour mesurer un flux sanguin à travers un tissu corporel, présentant un émetteur de lumière pour émettre de la lumière dans le tissu corporel et au moins un récepteur de lumière pour recevoir la lumière réfléchie dans le tissu corporel et de retour vers le cathéter. Le cathéter comprend un premier tube de raccordement et un élément rigide, l'émetteur de lumière et ledit au moins un récepteur de lumière étant agencés dans l'élément rigide. L'élément rigide comprend au moins une première et une deuxième fenêtre, la lumière émise par l'émetteur de lumière étant émise à travers la deuxième fenêtre dans le tissu corporel et la lumière réfléchie dans le tissu corporel étant reçue par ledit au moins un récepteur de lumière à travers la première fenêtre.
