Disclosed herein is an oxidized bacterial cellulose (OBC), a method for producing the same and uses thereof. The OBC is produced by reacting a bacterial cellulose with an oxidized solution containing phosphoric acid, sodium chlorite, and optionally, sodium chloride and thereby producing OBC having a degree of oxidation in a range of about 7-20%. The OBC may be applied as a dressing directly onto a wound to improve wound healing. The OBC may also be used as a transmembrane protein drug delivery system by properly adjusting the pH of the drug delivery system to a value below or above the isoelectric point of the protein drug, so as to upload or release the protein drug to or from the OBC.在此揭示一種氧化細菌纖維素,其之製造方法與用途。此氧化細菌纖維素是透過讓細菌纖維素與內含磷酸及亞氯酸鈉之氧化溶液(此氧化溶液還可非必要地包含氯化鈉)反應,而生成氧化度在7-20%間的氧化細菌纖維素。此氧化細菌纖維素可直接做為一種傷口敷料,用來促進傷口癒合;或是可做為一種穿皮膜式蛋白藥物傳送系統,透過改變此蛋白藥物傳送系統之pH值到所欲傳送之蛋白質藥物的等電點以下或以上,來載入蛋白質藥物至傳送系統或是讓蛋白質藥物自傳送系統中釋出。
