Disclosed are a device and a method for modeling body growth prediction. The method receives body growth data for an arbitrary user； models a growth prediction model according to any one of the similarity of a user with the body growth data or the conditional probability of the body growth data of the user, based on the body growth data of the user and body growth data of a plurality of previously stored subjects to be compared； models the growth prediction model based on at least one of a plurality of kinds of parameters included in the body growth data； and predicts and outputs a body growth value corresponding to the user through the growth prediction model. The body growth data of a plurality of previously stored subjects to be compared is recorded in a time-series manner for each subject to be compared for an arbitrary period. In addition, in the arbitrary period corresponding to two or more subjects to be compared among the plurality of subjects to be compared, at least one of the range and the interval thereof may be different from each other, or the interval thereof may be partially overlapped. The present invention can improve accuracy of growth prediction result.신체 성장 예측 모델링 장치 및 그 방법이 제공된다. 이 방법은, 임의의 사용자에 대한 신체 성장 데이터를 입력받고, 사용자의 신체 성장 데이터와 기저장된 복수의 비교 대상자 별 신체 성장 데이터에 기초하여 사용자의 신체 성장 데이터와의 유사도 또는 사용자의 신체 성장 데이터에 대한 조건부 확률 중 어느 하나에 따른 성장 예측 모델을 모델링하되, 신체 성장 데이터에 포함된 복수의 종류의 파라미터 중 적어도 하나에 기준하여 성장 예측 모델을 모델링하며, 성장 예측 모델을 통해 사용자에 대응하는 신체 성장 값을 예측하여 출력한다. 이때, 기저장된 복수의 비교 대상자 별 신체 성장 데이터는 각 비교 대상자 별로 임의의 기간 동안 시계열적으로 기록된 것이고, 복수의 비교 대상자 중 둘 이상의 비교 대상자에 대응된 상기 임의의 기간은 범위 및 구간 중 적어도 하나가 서로 상이하거나 또는 구간이 일부 중복되는 것이다.
