Monoclonal antibodies are provided that bind specifically to human caveolin- 1 (Cav- 1). For example, antibodies are provided that bind to the amino terminal region of Cav-1 (e.g., antibodies that bind to the epitopes in amino acids 1-64 of human Cav-1). Methods for producing such antibodies and for using anti-Cav- 1 antibodies for the treatment and detection of cancer are likewise disclosed.Linvention concerne des anticorps monoclonaux qui se lient spécifiquement à la cavéoline-1 humaine (Cav-1).
