In certain embodiments, the disclosure relates to methods of treating or preventing conditioned fear comprising administering an effective about neurokinin 3 receptor antagonist to a subject in need thereof. In certain embodiments, the subject is diagnosed with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.
