PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a visual acuity testing device capable of determining a visual acuity value with higher accuracy.SOLUTION: A visual acuity testing device comprises a target display part having a target plane 10 in which a target list 12 to be viewed by a subject is displayed, an operation part that can be operated by an operator so as to make targets displayed in the target display part selectable, and a control part. The target arrangement table presented to the operation part includes targets including those positioned beyond the target plane 10 longitudinally/laterally. The operation part or the control part has generation means for automatically generating the target list 12. The control part makes a control so that targets positioned beyond the target plane 10 are displayed within the target plane 10.
