PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fingerprint reading sensor which dissipates and removes droplets of sweat from sweat glands adhering to the sensor surface that can cause a residual fingerprint.SOLUTION: A fingerprint reading sensor is structured by covering a semiconductor sensor in which electrodes 2 as the minimum constituent units are partitioned by grids 1 in the longitudinal and lateral directions with a coating layer.
