PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operating lever installation structure for a straw disposal apparatus that facilitates the operation of a bottom plate portion and that enables the operation of attaching an operating lever to the bottom plate portion by means of a simple arrangement.SOLUTION: An operating lever installation structure for a straw disposal apparatus crushes waste straws using a rotating blade 30 and a fixed blade 33, has a bottom plate portion 35 for guiding the crushed waste straws backward to discharge them, and performs a crushing process by switching the bottom plate portion 35 between a chopper working attitude and a spreader working attitude by the operation of operating levers 36. The right and left operating levers 36 are mounted along the bottom frame 40b side of the bottom plate portion 35 while being symmetrically opposed to each other. Each operating lever 36 is formed in an approximately L-shape on planar view by a lever rod 36a and an operating unit 36b.
