Peroxycarboxylic acid sanitizing compositions containing a peroxycarboxylic acid stable fluorescent active compound suitable for monitoring by conductivity and/or optical sensors are disclosed. Beneficially, the sanitizing peroxycarboxylic acid compositions are also low odor and low/no VOC dual functioning acid wash and sanitizing compositions.
