A warning strip for wild animals has an aluminium strip (3) folded over at the top edge and with a punched hole for a support loop (2). A pad (4) impregnated with aromatic solution, e.g. to simulate predators, is fitted under the strip where it is protected from rain. The pad is secured by the same loop or is applied to the underside of the aluminium strip. The strips are strung along road edges and other hazard sites to alert the animals and cause them to move with care.
