PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To positively detect and report the fact that an infusion tube is stored reversely in a storage path inside an infusion pump.SOLUTION: A heater in contact with the infusion tube is heated during liquid feed (S2). Then, a temperature propagated to a chemical inside the infusion tube is measured by temperature sensors provided on the upstream side and on the downstream side of the heater, and a difference between the temperature measured on the downstream side and the temperature measured on the upstream side and a prescribed threshold Th are compared (S5) with each other.
