Disclosed is a concentrated liquid diet which contains a large amount of a middle-chain fatty acid that can supply energy with high efficiency and which puts little strain on the stomach. The concentrated liquid diet contains a middle-chain fatty acid having 8 carbon atoms and a middle-chain fatty acid having 10 carbon atoms, which are contained as constituent fatty acids for triglycerides, in a total amount of 2.5 to 8.0 g per 100 kcal of the energy of the concentrated liquid diet, wherein the middle-chain fatty acid having 10 carbon atoms makes up 60 mass% or more and the middle-chain fatty acid having 8 carbon atoms makes up 40 mass% or less of the total amount of the middle-chain fatty acid having 8 carbon atoms and the middle-chain fatty acid having 10 carbon atoms.
