The present invention relates to a Nano-functionalized pharmacological composition and its use for the treatment of dermal wounds from Bacopa Procumbens extract and gold nanoparticles. The pharmaceutical composition can be used topically in the treatment of various types of wounds including lacerations, wounds difficult to heal, burns, pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, and/or any damage or injury that causes disruption of the continuity of the skin and other epithelia, both of human and veterinary origin. Said composition accelerates the healing process from early stages and even in late phases, thereby stimulating various important processes that favor healing such as the proliferation of fibroblasts, increasing the expression of some proteins, including growth factors regulating the process therein. Also, it accelerates the re-epithelialization, closure, and restoration of the wound by stimulating the architecture of the skin and improving the aesthetic and mechanical quality t hereof, thus preventing wounds from becoming chronic or fibrotic.Esta invención hace referencia a una composición farmacológica nanofuncionalizada y su uso para el tratamiento de heridas dérmicas a partir de extracto de Bacopa procumbens y nanoparticulas de oro. La composición farmacéutica puede emplearse de manera tópica en el tratamiento de diversos tipos de heridas incluyendo laceraciones, heridas de difícil cicatrización, quemaduras, úlceras por presión, úlceras por pie diabético, y/o todo aquel daño o lesión que cause la interrupción de la continuidad de la piel y de otros epitelios, tanto de origen humano como veterinario, dado que esta composición acelera el proceso de cicatrización desde etapas tempranas y aun en fases tardías, estimulando diversos procesos importantes que favorecen la cicatrización como la proliferación de fibroblastos, el aumento de la expresión de algunas proteínas, entre ellas factores de crecimiento que regulan dicho proceso, así como acelerar la reepiteli
